SUMMARY:Laramie Police Department Invites Community To National Night Out
DESCRIPTION:he Laramie Police Department (LPD) will host its annual National Night Out celebration on  Tuesday\, August 4\, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Undine Park. The free\, family-friendly event will take place on the west side  of the park\, near the splash pad\, at the 800 block of South 5th Street.  \nNational Night Out is a national community-building campaign held each year on the first Tuesday in August. The  event brings law enforcement agencies and residents together to strengthen relationships and promote safer\, more  connected neighborhoods.  \nThis year’s event will include food and drinks\, games\, and tours of police vehicles\, along with several other  activities for attendees of all ages. Officers will be on hand throughout the evening to meet with residents and  answer questions.  \n“National Night Out gives us a chance to spend time with the people we serve outside of a typical call for service\,  and it’s one of the nights we look forward to most. It is a reminder that the relationships we build here matter just as  much as the work we do on a call. We hope to see as many neighbors as possible at Undine Park\,” said Seargeant  Ethan Greenawalt.  \nThe Laramie Police Department encourages residents to attend and connect with the officers who serve their  community.
