DESCRIPTION:June 15\, 2023 (Laramie\, Wyo) – Blue Sky Group Inc today announced that it is hosting the third Blue Sky Summer Festival in Laramie\, Wyoming from 10 am to midnight tomorrow\, Friday\, June 16. \nThis year the event will return to its roots by hosting a festival and street dance on Grand Ave between 1st and 2nd Streets that features Laramie bands\, creators\, causes\, art\, and performances\, including a community art project\, sidewalk yoga\, contact improv\, cacao ceremony\, a fire art ceiling\, High Plains Sauna\, Relative Theatrics\, PrideFest\, and musical acts Danno from Wyo\, J Shogren\, Stay Awhile\, DJ Pato\, Double Dare Ya\, The Coveralls\, Hornie Johnson and the Blue Ballers\, Jeff Bailey\, and Kaaden A. \nThe event will also feature food and drink by Cavalryman Catering\, Keystone Hall\, Heritage Foods Catering\, Chaco’s Tacos\, The Soda Pit\, and Nick’s Food Rendezvous. Drinks will include many non-alcoholic options. \nIn 2018\, the festival was held on Grand between 2nd and 3rd Streets. In 2021\, the festival was a moving music event that happened every Thursday through the summer in order to support physical distancing during COVID. Both festivals were successful in bringing people together and celebrating the passions and dreams of the Laramie community. \nBlue Sky is a Laramie-based collective of companies focused on sustainability and wellness. SUMMARY:Laramie Municipal Band Free Performances
DESCRIPTION:The Laramie municipal Band will perform for free in the Washington Park Bandshell. \nSince the 1950s\, Laramie has been working in conjunction with the University of Wyoming\nto provide citizens with a free concert series that can be enjoyed by all ages. In the past\, the\nconcert series has featured music from many categories\, including marches\, show tunes\,\npopular songs\, and music of the West. \nThe band is made up of community members of Laramie and Albany County in addition to a\nfew high school and UW students. This year\, the band will again be under the direction of Dr.\nRobert Belser\, UW Director of Bands. \nThe 2023 concert series will take place at the Washington Park Edgar J. Lewis Bandshell just\nas they have in previous years. The concerts are free and open to all members of the public.\nThe series has 5 concerts scheduled for this summer\, the first of which will take place on July\n4 th during the Freedom has a Birthday celebration. Except for the July 4 th concert\, all concerts\nwill occur on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM from July 12 th through August 2 nd .
