SUMMARY:Banding Together: A Night For Neighbors Fundraiser With Laramie Interfaith
DESCRIPTION:From the event organizers: \nDid you know it’s been nearly one year since locals Trinity and Trevor Thatcher purchased the Cowboy Saloon and Dance Hall? We did! To help celebrate their one-year anniversary\, local troubadour and general Laramie personality\, Walt Hammontree\, presents a night of lively music and dancing with his band\, House of Cards\, at one of Laramie’s greatest venues\, the Cowboy Saloon and Dance Hall. For one night only\, Laramie Interfaith takes over the college bar for a slightly less rowdy (but just as fun!) night. Come dance the night away and support a good cause – complete with a silent auction and cash bar. It’s a night to celebrate\, support\, and find company with our neighbors since we are\, after all\, Neighbors helping Neighbors. \nBuy tickets at this link

SUMMARY:Laradise Music Showcase: Fresh Fruit! / Phryne
DESCRIPTION:Fresh Fruit! has entered their brooding post-apocalyptic era. The whimsical nature of their past releases didn’t do justice to their increasing fears and insecurities regarding the future of the human race. Their declining confidence in the current trajectory of the world has led them to ask bigger questions and approach deeper topics within their music. With their new music\, Fresh Fruit! looks into the future\, but also reminisces on the past as they attempt to navigate the world around them. Their current sound begs the question: what if Marvin Gaye had played more guitar and made music in the midst of a nuclear fallout? \nLaramie’s own\, Phryne\, will be opening up the night for Fresh Fruit! to finish the final installment of the Laradise Music Showcase. \nCome out and support local artists! \nShow: 8:00 pm \nDoors: 7:00 pm
