Feeding Laramie Valley is the only summer meal program that makes its meals completely from scratch using fresh\, healthy ingredients\, sometimes gathered right from the gardens on-site!\n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome! No sign-ups required! Kids ages 0-17 eat free\, with a suggested donation of $3.00 for adult caregivers accompanying children. Mon – Fri\, 11:30am – 1:00pm at 968 N. 9th St.\, Laramie (LaBonte Park). Dietary accommodations available.\n\n\n\nEn español:\n\n\n¡Los niños comen gratis este verano empezando martes\, el 17 de junio! DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 13 and under can fish and prizes will be awarded for 4 different age groups: 5 and under\, 6-7\, 8-10\, 11-13.  Each group will have a prize for first fish caught\, smallest fish\, largest fish\, and first to reach the limit. \nRegistration begins at 7 am and fishing starts at 8 am. This event is free for kid to participate and the first 100 kids to register will get a free t-shirt. See you on the water!

DESCRIPTION:Light up Laramie with us at the 307 Glow & Go Run/Walk—a glowing 3.07-mile event to bring our community together and kick off the Capital Campaign: Gateway to Progress! Whether you run\, walk\, or jog\, come ready to shine. Participants will move through the course while enjoying music\, lights\, and our signature Glow Zone\, where you’ll be splashed with non-toxic\, washable glow powder colors. Glow supplies will be provided\, but make sure to wear a white or neon-colored shirt to make the most of the effect. After the run\, stick around for refreshments and fun! Black Tooth Brewing will be handing out complimentary beer for participants 21 and older\, and we’ll have other drinks available for those under 21. Let’s glow\, go\, and grow together—this is more than a fun run; it’s a bright step toward building a stronger future for our community.

SUMMARY:2025 Wyoming Archaeology Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Wyoming Archaeology Fair is a beloved annual event held at the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site in Laramie! \nThis is a FREE event open to the public. \nThe fair showcases Wyoming’s cultural heritage including Indigenous lifeways and historic activities. Attendees are invited to try their hand at flint knapping\, atlatl throwing\, pottery making\, hide painting\, cordage making\, yucca processing\, and more. Additionally\, attendees will have an opportunity to meet local archaeologists\, ask questions\, and find answers. There are many special guests like the Wind River Dancers who demonstrate a variety of Indigenous dance styles – they will be performing at 1 pm\, don’t miss it! \nBuilt in 1872 and restored in 1989\, the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site is a must-visit in Laramie. Be sure to take a tour of the Prison\, or learn how to make a broom or both! Stops along the tour include furnished cells\, the prisoners’ dining area\, guard’s quarters\, infirmary\, women’s quarters\, laundry room\, warden’s office\, and the Butch Cassidy exhibit gallery.
