The play runs September 11th through September 19th and will be performed in the Studio Theatre at the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts.  \nThis play is directed by Sean Coyle and features Madison Fertig\, Willow Greiner\, Patch Kluge\, Chloe Seitz\, Lydia Toelle\, Hannah Waskowitz and Ethan Williams.  \nTICKETS: Online at http://www.RelativeTheatrics.com or call 307-314-2334  \nPlay Description:  \nThe editor-in-chief of a college newspaper manages a divisive Pennsylvania swing county newsroom as the impending 2016 presidential election looms over the United States. While all eyes are on the national stage\, the editor-in-chief finds herself grappling with cataclysmic events much closer to home.  \nDescribed by playwright Gabriel Jason Dean as a display of Duvak’s “beyond-her-years skill for building complex characters\, a masterful use of dramatic irony\, and an enviable ear for rhythmic\, musical dialogue that crackles with wit\, wisdom and complexity.”  \n-in-chief is at once a clever comedy and a striking political commentary\, keeping both in a fine balance.  \nContent Warning: This play includes heavy discussion of sexual assault. There are also allusions to homophobia\, misogyny\, and racism. There are no violent acts depicted onstage but they are referred to in conversation.  \nDetails:  \nThe opening weekend of performances is September 11th and 12th 2026 at 7:30 pm. Performances continue September 16th\, 17th\, 18th and 19th at 7:30pm.  \nAll performances are located in the Studio Theatre at the UW Buchanan Center for Performing Arts  \nA preview pay-what-you-can performance will take place at 7:30pm on September 10th\, 2026. SUMMARY:9th Annual Underachievers .5k Race Presented by Toyota of Laramie
DESCRIPTION:This is not your typical race. \nRacers can run\, walk\, crawl\, or use any form of non-motorized transportation to compete in an untimed .5k – note the decimal… this race is total of about 500 yards. \nThe race begins and ends at the Washington Park basketball court and race start time is 10am-ish \nCostumes are encouraged and there will be prizes for the best costume and best team costume. \nDonuts and coffee will be available for racers to refuel at the halfway point\, and racers receive a beer at the finish line to celebrate completing the race! \nWe have games along the race course as well!  We’ve put our own spin on some classic yard games but we make them very simple as we don’t want our racers to have to work too hard. \nThe best part is it’s all for charity!  Proceeds from racer registrations will be donated to The Downtown Clinic. \n**online registration will close the night before the race but in person registrations at the park will be accepted.
