DESCRIPTION:Join Us in Keeping Laramie Beautiful!\nThe University of Wyoming’s Student Leadership & Community Engagement (SLCE) department and the City of Laramie are teaming up to launch the third annual Community Clean-Up Days with an exciting Free-to-Attend Kickoff Event! \n\nKickoff Event Details\n\nDate: Saturday\, April 18\, 2025\nTime: 10 AM – 1 PM\nLocation: Laramie Rec Center\, 920 Boulder Drive\nPrice: FREE\n\nWhat to Expect\nThis family-friendly event is the perfect way to get involved and give back to the Laramie community. \n\nFree T-Shirts for volunteers (while supplies last)\nFood Trucks serving up delicious local bites\nBounce Houses for kids\nCommunity Organizations showcasing resources & opportunities\nLearn how to sign up & volunteer for Community Clean-Up Days\n\nWhat Are Cmmunity Clean-Up Days?\nFrom April 18 – May 4\, we’re rallying together to clean up Laramie in honor of Earth Day. Sign up to volunteer\, pick up litter\, and make a real difference in our community. \nHow to Get Involved\nTo get involved\, sign up today at volunteer.cityoflaramie.org and be part of the effort to keep Laramie clean. Gather your friends\, family\, or coworkers and register as a group to make an even greater impact. Together\, we can celebrate our beautiful planet while giving back to the community. \nAdditionally\, this year\, individuals who complete 100 hours of volunteer work and groups that complete 250 hours of volunteer work by July 1st\, 2026\, will be honored at this year’s Freedom Has a Birthday opening ceremonies.
