April is the perfect time to be transformed into a Wyoming summer day. \n“It’s about slowing down\, getting inspired for summer\, and enjoying a creative experience with friends\,” said René Williams\, SLA founder and artist. “We’re bringing together artists\, scientists\, makers\, musicians\, and the community for a full day of summer in April.” \nTickets are available online at 4thStreetStudios.com and Eventbrite\, and hurry before they sell out. Whether you’re a beer connoisseur\, a foodie\, a gardener\, a DIYer\, artist or just want to enjoy 5 local bands\, admission is donation-based with all proceeds going towards SLA. \nScience Loves Art (SLA) is a Wyoming 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to bring art\, science and community together through discovery\, creation and experience. Art and science have been separated into different categories while SLA will remind us that science and art go hand in hand! Artist and founder\, René Williams was awarded the artist outreach for the Wyoming EPSCoR Microbial Ecology $20 million dollar grant in 2017. René made use of the funding to start this nonprofit SLA and begin programming with SLA Kits\, festivals\, and exhibitions for the public to enjoy. SLA has a diverse board\, broad volunteer base and committed sponsors to support their mission. \nBumbleBrew Fest is supported by Visit Laramie\, Wyoming Arts Council\, City of Laramie\, Albany County\, Wyoming Community Foundation and 4th Street Studios.
