Relative Theatrics Presents STRAIGHT WHITE MEN

November 7, 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Relative Theatrics Presents STRAIGHT WHITE MEN by Young Jean Lee Relative Theatrics is proud to present STRAIGHT WHITE MEN by Young Jean Lee in association with the SAFE Men program. The play runs November 7th through 15th in the Gryphon Theatre at the Laramie Plains Civic Center

This play is directed by Kim Lockhart and features Will Bowling, Sean Coyle, Connor Durkee, and J Shogren.

Play Description:

When Ed and his three adult sons come together to celebrate Christmas, they enjoy cheerful trash-talking, pranks, and takeout Chinese. Then they confront a problem that even being a happy family can’t solve: When identity matters, and privilege is problematic, what is the value of being a straight white man?

The opening weekend of performances is November 7th and November 8th 2025 at 7:30 pm. Performances continue November 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th at 7:30pm. All performances are located at the Laramie Plains Civic Center in the Gryphon Theatre. A preview pay-what-you-can performance will take place at 7:30pm on November 6th, 2025. Additionally there will be a post show talk back immediately following the show on November 13th funded by the Wyoming Humanities Crossroad Grant.

To enhance accessibility, Relative Theatrics is offering general admission tickets at three different price points ($43/$28/$18). Tickets are currently for sale and can be purchased online at www.RelativeTheatrics.com.

STRAIGHT WHITE MEN is supported in part by the Wyoming Arts Council, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Wyoming Legislature, Wyoming Humanities, and the City of Laramie and Albany County Community Partner funds, as well as the Albany County Recreation Board.

Relative Theatrics engages community in thoughtful, contemporary theatre, expands worldviews and connects us to collective humanity.
