In an effort to increase thhe roster of available shelter volunteers, Albany County is hosting the American Red Cross for a Shelter Fundamentals training.  Having volunteers that are trained and ready to respond when emergencies arise, greatly increases their ability to help the  community efficiently and effectively in times of need.

The class will be held on Tuesday, September 12^th from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Albany County Fairgrounds.
