Reasons to Be Pretty, written by Neil LaBute, is a sharp, gritty drama that tackles modern society’s obsession with physical appearance and self-worth. The story follows four working-class individuals, two couples whose lives spiral downhill after an offhand comment about a woman’s face sparks a explosive rift between them. Staged in an intimate setting featuring a student-built revolving stage, the production forces characters and audiences alike to confront raw, uncomfortable truths about relationships, communication, and human insecurity
