Sometimes accessing help is harder than it should be.When Wyoming moved the LIEAP application process online and stopped accepting paper applications in 2024, we began seeing a new challenge for some of the people we support.
Not everyone has easy access to transportation, reliable internet, an email address, or a computer and those things shouldn’t stand in the way of getting help with heating costs.
That’s why we’re offering FREE LIEAP Application Assistance at the Albany County Public Library!
Tuesday, October 6 | 1:30–4:30 PM Wednesday, October 7 | 8:00 AM–12:00 PMBring your email/login information (if you have it), identification, proof of household income, and your most recent heating and electric bills.
We’ll have computers, internet access, and people available to help you through the application process.
There will be snacks!**Our goal is to remove barriers and make it easier for people in our community to connect with the resources available to them.**
