Fire in the Sky Presented by WyoTech
July 4 @ 10:00 pm - 10:30 pm
This incredible fireworks display consists of over 300 aerial shells, ranging in diameter from three to eight inches. The show is an Independence Day blast (pun intended) that’s sure to impress. Fireworks begin at approximately 10 p.m. at Harney and 22nd Street.
Tune your radio to Hits 106 to hear the soundtrack that goes with the fireworks show. Please note that streaming audio is delayed so the best listening experience will be live over the air broadcast.
The City of Laramie partners with WyoTech to bring this exciting fireworks show to the community. In addition to sponsorship, WyoTech students and staff volunteer their time to help make the event big and bright for all. From cleanup after the show to participating in the 4th of July festivities, it’s a great way for WyoTech students to connect with the Laramie community.
To enjoy the 4th of July to the fullest while still respecting residential neighborhoods, the City reminds eventgoers to follow event parking guidelines. As you plan and prepare for the day, note where you should park for Freedom Has a Birthday and Fire in the Sky. 22nd Street from Harney to Willet will be closed during the show, as well as Harney from Television Road to 22nd, Armory Road from 30th to 22nd, and Television Road from Harney to Armory. The City recommends Kiowa Park, Scout Park, Washington Park, and LaPrele Park as some of the better viewing areas in town.
