The Bandshell a Free Live Music Festival at Washington Park September 4
LARAMIE Wyoming 2026 — The Bandshell, a free, all-ages community music festival built around live music, local artists and bringing people together, will take place Friday, September 4, from 5:00–9:00 p.m. at the Washington Park Bandshell in Laramie.
The idea behind The Bandshell is pretty simple: Laramie has a lot of talented musicians, a lot of people looking for things to do, and one of the coolest places in town to actually bring everyone together.
The festival will feature 5 bands
throughout the evening, along with food trucks and alcohol vending from The Ranger Bar for guests 21 and older. Admission is completely free.
The Bandshell is being independently organized with help from local businesses, sponsors and members of the community, with the goal of creating a free, accessible event that gives local musicians another place to play and gives people in Laramie something fun to gather around.
Beyond putting on a good show, the hope is to create another place for Laramie’s music scene to grow. Somewhere local musicians, students, longtime residents, businesses and anyone else can all be part of the same thing for a night.
