The ACSD#1 Dual Language Immersion Program, DLI, is a bilingual program where two languages are used for instruction, English and Spanish. Students entering kindergarten are eligible to participate in the program. Students selected for the program will attend school where the program is located, Slade Elementary. For more information regarding the selection process and the program, please refer to the information below. How does the lottery process work:

1. Attend the informational meeting:
   • April 2nd, 2026, 6PM, Slade Elementary School
2. Fill out the application that is linked below. Applications are due by 2PM on April 10th.
   • Click here to complete the application.
3. Students will be selected using a lottery system on April 13th.
4. Parents/guardians of selected students will be contacted by Slade for further details following the completion of the lottery selection.
